I was searching YouTube today to find a gooddance resource videos and I found a videos of stretches and exercises to use in a jazz class. The resource is called Fit for a Feast. Along with dance videos this site can give you ideas to use in a home economics class. In regards to dance this site has a lot to offer such as performances, dance lessons, jazz, tap, ballet, street style, ballroom, cultural, stage makeup, hair styling, dance costumes, more dance, competitions and dance shop. On the home page under videos there are useful videos of other ideas to use with your students too. The great aspect about this site is that it was created by kids who have a lot of experience in dance and gymnastics. This will help your students relate more to the stretches or exercises if they see other dance students doing it.
Here is an example of one of the video done by Fit for a Feast on how to do the splits. Enjoy!
